Discovery will be using the iSchoolRide app to streamline the dismissal process while also maintaining the safety of our staff and students. In order to provide for a safe dismissal process, students will wait in their classrooms with their cohort and teacher during dismissal. There will be no gathering of students in the front or back of the school. Teachers will dismiss students being picked up when the iSchoolRide app notifies them that their car is in the designated pickup zone, Front Lot or Solar Lot. Families will receive an alert on the app when all students on the pickup card have been dismissed. There will be staff on campus supporting students during dismissal. Prior to the first day of school, all families picking up students will need to download the iSchoolRide PickupLine App from the App Store or Google Play and register with the Discovery code: HXC-247.
Families can add other family members to their pickup card in the iSchoolRide app to give authorization for another family member to pick up students. Information on how to add families members to a pickup card can be found on these support documents: iOS and Android
