Holly Hartzell

About Me

This is my 18th year teaching and I absolutely love my profession. I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 4, & 6th throughout my career. This year I will be teaching 4th grade at Discovery Elementary. I earned my bachelor's degree at San Diego State University in liberal studies and later got my teaching credential in elementary education at California State University, San Marcos. While at SDSU, I played on the women's water polo team and I was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018. Go Aztecs!

My goal as an educator is to inspire students to be curious about the world, courageous in their learning, cooperative with classmates, and empathetic to differences with others.
