Please review the Discovery Comprehensive Reopening Plan for information regarding safety protocols and procedures specific to our campus.

San Marcos Unified School District sent a reopening email on October 14 with important information regarding steps to be taken prior to students’ first day back on campus. 

1. Read and sign the SMUSD Parent Health and Safety Agreement

Turn the SMUSD Parent Health and Safety Agreement in to staff at the screening check on the first day back on campus.

2. Read SMUSD’s Face Covering Policy and review it with your

student(s).

All staff and students will be required to wear their mask daily on

SMUSD campuses.

3. Activate your account for the LumiSight prescreening app. Preliminary information was provided from SMUSD on October 12 and an activation email was sent on October 16. More information to support families with this process is provided below.

All staff and students will be required to be screened daily prior to

entering campus.

4. Review the SMUSD COVID 19 Guide for Parents and the SMUSD COVID 19 Symptoms Guidance for Parents as reference if your student becomes ill or is showing possible symptoms of  COVID 19.
