Tess Nelson



This is my 17th year teaching. I earned my bachelor's degree in liberal studies and teaching credential from Cal State San Marcos. I have taught Kindergarten, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th grade during my time as an educator in the San Marcos Unified School District. I also spent two years teaching Kindergarten at an international school in Beijing, China.  I am passionate about literacy, and my goal in reading intervention is to support students as they develop into strong readers and thinkers.
